Archive News In addition to their other quality accreditations, Chapco are delighted to announce their acceptance to the ContractorPlus, Scheme, boosting their recognition for quality and service delivery.
Membership of the scheme provides clients with the reassurance that Chapco’s health & safety procedures, and safe working methods are suitable for the services they provide, and have been independently audited against stringent entry, and current legislative requirements.
The scheme also evaluates the company’s tax and insurance details, and assesses the processes which cover accident reporting and analysis, permits to work, quality assurance systems and relevant experience.
Any client allowing external contractors or service providers to work on their premises must ensure they are operating using safe methods of work. Historically this would mean that clients were required to assess every contractor’s health & safety arrangements each time they were employed on site.
Accreditation to the scheme now removes this process as long as the scheme’s compliance and audit requirements are maintained. Many large organisations are now using the scheme’s database as their primary method of accessing and selecting service providers.
Richard Chapman, MD of the Chapco Group said "The ContractorPlus award is yet another milestone in Chapco’s history, quality is at the heart of everything that we as an organisation do. Recognition by ContractorPlus clearly demonstrates our commitment to our clients to deliver the best possible service which is backed up by robust, independently verified, quality processes".
